2026 Edition

The AI + HPC Field Manual

GPUs, memory, fabrics and the science that runs on them

AI and high-performance computing are now one discipline. This manual covers the whole stack as it stands today, from the accelerator and its memory to the fabric, the facility, the scheduler, and the training, inference and simulation workloads that run on top.

15 chapters in five parts. Every hardware figure is sourced to the vendor, standards body or published result it came from, and each chapter ends with its sources.
